For the ps of Marina, I think I have fixed that yesterday. The option is there since a long time. It happens for a teacher who is not the supervisor and have created his/her classes. He has right to give to another teacher already registered in the superclass the right to be also a teacher of this class. Sophie realized that the new one was also registered as a participant as we are looking to the variables user_participate in the files (checking indexation questions). I agree also with you, the reason I ask the question ! Bernadette |

I had difficulties in reproducing the error as I never sow that option before! An other new feature! I agree with Joke: sometimes it is useful to grant access as students but it should not be done automatically. This is how I see it: if I insert a teacher I only want the user_supervise variable set, it would be nice to be able to have the possibility to set (and unset) the user_participate as well, independently from the user_supervise. PS: while enquiring this I realized that this "edit" page is not working for the supervisor in the superclass: the option "edit" is given, but the user_supervise variable is not saved. Marina |

We've never seen / tried this. In general it is usefull to be a "real" student as teacher. We sometimes make a real student account in that case. (which will be removed when no longer needed) But it should not be done automatically, I think. joke |

I realize the following thing : If a teacher having created a subclass in a class group, he can gives a gestion access to another teacher to his class. That is OK. But he gives also an access as a participant (student). I don't know if it is intentional or not. At least, it should be written that he is doing that. If he deletes the gestion access, the participate access is not deleted. The patch to avoid that is the following (only two lines change except for spaces !) But before applying it, I would like to know what you think of that. I have also not checked the eventual other consequences ! Bernadette |
