Posted by: Yannick De Oliveira Content: Dear community,This new release of BioMercator is an update of the previous version 4 of BioMercator. It solves some bugs that have been raised for a long time in BioMercator : * When loading the maps, BioMercator now ignores spaces and/or tabulation at the end of line * You can now compile maps with several linkage groups in the same chromosome * On Windows it can happened that the compilation ran badly and results in a wrong consensus map : this problem is now solved * When inversing a linkage group with metaQTLs, the position of the metaQTLs were not recalculated and resulting in a wrong map : this is also solved You can download it here : https://sourcesup.renater.fr/frs/download.php/file/5799/BioMercatorV4.2.3.jar Cheers, Yannick | Latest News

Pending the time you receieve a response from Dr Yannick himself, I don't think you need a path for the installation. All I think you need is to get jar installed on your system and you are good to go. If you are also working on a meta-QTL analysis studies you can look me up on research gate @ Amo Aduragbemi.
