The most important change is a significant speedup in adding objects to a universe. This also affects opening trajectory files, which has become a lot faster for large systems.

A new development release (2.7.4) of the Molecular Modelling Toolkit is now available. There are no new features, but a couple of improvements and bug fixes. In particular, a bug introduced in 2.7.3 caused exceptions in the methods boundingBox and boundingSphere, which many users have reported. This is fixed now.
